Todays bus

I decided to post this to help anyone traveling from philadelphia to NY for H.O.P.E. via Todays bus a chinatown bus service. due to there extremely low prices and the rumors I had heard I was curious and wondered what I was in for the first time I rode with them. but after traveling with them I highly recommend them. Tickets You have two options for riding with todays bus you can buy your tickets in advance online (note that the departure times are set in stone once you order tickets online if you miss a bus or decide to change times your gonna have to buy another ticket) you can order at todaysbus.com or gotobus.com otherwise you can go directly to Todays bus the day of your departure as a "standby passenger". a one way ticket will cost you $15 and round trip will cost $20. if you order online you'll want to print out your "e-ticket" or at least write down your confirmation number and take it and a id with you to get on the bus. also youll have to email their customer service if you want to bring anything large like a bike or over three bags. buses depart starting at 7:00am and the last bus leaves at 11:00pm in between they run close to every hour . but you'll want to get to the station half an hour before your planned departure if at all possible to assure your place on the bus. Getting to the bus Todays bus is located at 121 N 11th Street in philadelphia and while there are places to park long-term in the city it will cost you. If you can't get a ride and your outside the city I would suggest taking septa into Philly. Todays bus is 2 1/2 blocks north of market east station(12th and filber) about a 5 minute walk. here is all the info you need to find your way via septa. once your on 11th street look for this sign Dscn1521 it'll be on the right as you head north once thru the door you'll want to give your confirmation whitch would be either a printed copy of your e-ticket or the confirmation number and id from the person behind the counter or buy your standby ticket. Dscn1522 you can wait in there or outside on the benches Dscn1523 the busses pull up right out front to illustrate what i mean I moved my head a total of 90 degrees from the last picture to take this one of my bus waiting to let people on Dscn1525 The Ride just like with greyhound they'll open the udercarrage for you to throw your "up to three" bags in before you get on over all the busses are nice and the seats comfy Dscn1619 Dscn1528 and the Todays busses i've rode have never been as packed or dirty as greyhound. Dscn1526 heres where you pull out your entertainment of choice conversation, laptop, book, exc. and get engrossed might i suggest saving the latest episodes of off the hook and off the wall by the time your done listening to them you'll be at Chen's dry cleaner at 88 East Broadway Suite#108. In case you need it for the way back you'll see people like the woman in brown selling the bus tickets here in NY. Dscn1616 on to H.O.P.E. from here you'll want to go east on broadway to East Broadway station F and take the F line tward 179TH ST-JAMAICA 7 stops to 34th St - Herald Sq Station (34th St & 6th Ave) then go north east on 34th street to 7th ave (away from the empire state building past macy's) and then head south on 7th till you see HOPENN it will be on your left directly across the street from penn station and madison square garden. Welcome to HOPE! post a message letting me know if i helped or how i could improve this. getting back umm... follow the steps above backwards.
